Is the seminar hands-on?
Yes. The best and most effective computer training is where the student gets to practice presented material in front of the computer. For this reason our one day courses are always hands-on.
Can I really learn in one day?
Absolutely! When you sign up for a one-on-one training it's only you and the instructor in the room. You are guided and presented information based on your individual skill level and pace of learning. All the attention is on you and your needs.
Do students receive a training guide?
Yes. Each student receives a detailed workbook by email prior to the training.
How do I know which version of QuickBooks I should buy?
I recommend either QuickBooks Pro or Premier as those can be easily customized to almost any type of industry and business type.
Which software version do you teach?
We train on the most current version of software: QuickBooks Pro, QuickBooks Premier and Enterprise Edition. If you don't have or use the current version of the software, don't worry. Our instructor will highlight the differences.
I started a new company and need to have QuickBooks setup. Can we setup the software while I am training?
Yes. If there is a limited amount of data to enter, we can set up your new file while you are being trained. Otherwise, new file setup should be done ahead of the training.
Is QuickBooks similar to Quicken software?
It is similar but different enough to require training in order to work it properly.
Can I bring my own laptop to class?
Sure. Just make sure you have QuickBooks software installed on it.
Should I attend a seminar every time a new version of the software comes out?
No. Although there are usually some new features with every new edition of QuickBooks, in most cases the information that you learned in the previous version will apply to the new one.
How far in advance can I book my training?
That depends on availability. Please call the office at 201-322-3505 x 1 for an updated class schedule.
Where are the classes offered?
We have three training facilities: Paramus, Saddle Brook, and Parsippany, NJ. You can also train in your business office or place of employment. There is an extra charge for off-site training.
How can I sign up for my training seminar?
Do I need to pay for the class in advance?
Yes. You can pay with a major credit card or a check.
Do I receive a certification upon completion?
No. Our classes are strictly designed for hands on training and we do not issue certificates. However, if you require an acknowledgement of training class completion, our office will gladly provide it.
How is your training different from others?
Unlike other training schools, we offer post-training, Free tech support by email for three months. So if you get stuck with a QuickBooks problem or can't figure out how to use one of its features, you can email us your question and we will respond with an answer within one business day.
